Bearing is difficult to be installed to the shaft, in the case of interference fit or driving fit. Therefore, the bearing should be heated before installation, in order to make inner ring heat expansion.

Bearing induction heater of GR series make the parts under interference fit assembly easier, which include bearing, gear, chain wheel and so on. 

Principle of electromagnetic induction is applied in the heater. Owing to the adoption of progressive electronic temperature control circuit, the temperature of bearing can be fixed automatically according to the set arbitrarily in the range of 0~200℃. When the temperature of bearing reaches the upper limit, the heating circuit will be cut off and the overtemperature alarm will start. Intelligent dual digital display regulating mode is used in the temperature fixed, temperature control and temperature display. Therefore, the wanted and the current temperature can be displayed intuitively at the same time. In the time control mode, it is intuitive and accurate that the wanted and the current time shown in the form of double digital display. The heated time of bearing can be shown to the operator at any time. There is just bearing be heated, the heater and heating rod still keep at room temperature. Tap on a bearing will damage the raceway, flame heating will reduce the bearing life, cooking oil will pollute the environment, but all problem above has been solved by the bearing induction heaters. It has many advantages, such as simplicity of operator, easy to use, safe, reliable, high speed heating, strong commonality, energy saving, no pollution and so on.

The composition principle of the heater

This circuit consists of the control circuit, temperature control system, time control system and time-temperature control logic conversion circuit.

Before heating the bearing, the heating rod should through the bearing, and be loaded on the magnet core pillar.

The primary loop consists of coil, magnet core and heating rod. When current flows through the coil, there will be a magnetic field created in the closed circuit composed of magnet core and heating rod. The bearing will be heated, at the same time, temperature signal will be feedback to the temperature control system. A complete set of logic control system is made up by temperature control, time control and logic conversion circuit, in which time and temperature are independent of each other and mutual restraint.


Working principle of the electric

The ac power indicator light D1 will be bright when the power switch is connected.

The primary loop will be in the disconnected state, when the switch K is in the position of the “setting”. If the temperature switch N1 or timing switch N2 turn on for the time being, the heater can’t work, just only set temperature and time parameters, And the time shown is not the actual heating time. But if the switch K is in the position of the “load”, the heater can work.


1. Temperature control:

Make the probe of sensor adsorption on inner ring of the heated bearing, turn on the power switch,press the temperature control button N2, connect the temperature control system, then the main circuit will be conducting. There will be current flows through the coil L and a magnetic field on the heating rod, the bearing will be heated. “PV” in the display window show the actual measured value, and “SV” show the set value.

When the temperature of bearing reaches set value, the temperature light D4 will bright, the buzzer will alarm, the heating circuit is cut off, the temperature will remain the value. If you want stop heating in the process of temperature control, you can press the button N2 again. If the temperature of bearing continues to rise for some reason, and reach the highest temperature value (the highest value can be set), the heating circuit will be cut off by temperature control system. The overtemperature alarm lamp D5 will bright, D2 light will go out.

2. Time control:

When time control is adopted, the sensor is not need. The time control system will be switch on and light D2 will bright, when the button N1 is pressed. Meanwhile, the coil and heating rod will be work, the bearing will be heated. When the preset time run out, the primary loop will be cut off, heating will stop, D3 light will bright. In the display window of time control, “PV” show the actual timing time, and “SV” show the set value. When the timer achieve the set time, D3 will bright, heating loop will be cut off. Press the button N1, heating stop too.


3. Time and temperature dual control, time preference

(1) When the temperature has not reached the set value yet, the time has already reached, light D3 will shine, heating will stop. At this time, the display window of temperature is just display.

(2) When the temperature reached the set value, light D4 will bright, but the time has not reached. The heating will go on based on the principle of time priority. But, when the temperature reached the ceiling temperature, light “overtemperature alarm” D5 will bright, heating circuit will be cut off, heating stop. This function used for protect the bearing not to be tempering caused by over temperature, and ensure the quality of the heated bearing.

This bearing heater has many functions, consist of soft start, soft end, degaussing automatically and manually, etc.
