ZYS Bearings Assisted The Land Of CHANG’E 4 On The Moon's Far Side

At 10:26 on January 3, CHANG’E 4 detector successfully landed on the pre-selected landing site of the moon's far side, and at 11:40, it passed the "Queqiao" relay satellite and sent back the world's first close-up image of the moon's far side. The picture reveals the mystery of the far side of the moon. The mission realized the soft landing on the moon's far side of human detector and the first relay communication of the moon's far side and the earth, which opened a new chapter in human lunar exploration.

It can be said that CHANG’E 4 lunar probe and "Queqiao" relay satellite made great contributions for this mission. Among them, ZYS bearing which belongs to SINOMACH also did a good job.

In the coaxial switch of "Queqiao" relay satellite, it applied the solid lubrication bearing with high-precision, high-sensitivity, high-vacuum of ZYS, which is mainly used to realize the conversion of different signal channels.

According to reports, the solid lubrication bearing developed by ZYS is suitable for space environment, with wide operating temperature and strong radiation resistance, which can adapt to the harsh working environment of the lunar surface. The biggest characteristic of high-speed low-temperature heavy-duty self-lubricating bearings is that it can achieve the rotating speed of 20,000 to 60,000 rpm under extremely low temperatures (-253 °C)  in the absence of lubrication.
